I've raised £1000 to Help the Wells Free School become an eco-school

[Gandhi / Arleen Lorrance]
Saving the planet is now an emergency, and, whilst we can't fix all the damage that has been done, we have a duty to educate ourselves and our children, and change our behaviours to minimise our impact on the environment.
With this in mind, we are helping the Wells Free School raise additional funds to purchase specific resources as a first step towards becoming an eco-school. Through equipment such as topic specific books (approx £300), litter picking kits and community equipment (approx £500) and scheme specific material (approx £200), the School will be able to promote eco-awareness and develop the children's responsibilities for their local environment, to ensure a greener and healthier future for everyone.
And what better way to support this initiative than using one of the most eco-friendly means of transport: his BIKE!! Warren has decided to raise funds and awareness by cycling all the way to... IRELAND!
His challenge is to cycle alone and unsupported from Tunbridge Wells to Newcastle in Northern Ireland, covering 710 kilometres (450 miles) over 5 days. Watch this space for news and updates and let's hope for good weather!
Let's ALL be the change we want to see in the world, and help our children to do the same.
