I've raised £2500 to help fund the five Physical Disability Rugby Teams

I'm cycling 210 miles, from The Jungle stadium in Castleford all the way to Wembley, for the Challenge Cup Final. As captain of Castleford Tigers Physical Disability team, I'd love to raise funds to support all five PDRL teams in the UK: Castleford Tigers, Leeds Rhinos, Wakefield Trinity, Warrington Wolves & Wire, and Wigan Warriors.
Physical Disability Rugby League is still in its infancy as a sport. There are only a handful of teams, and they're all run by registered charity foundations from Super League clubs. The pandemic has hit charity fundraiser hard, across the board, as well as the clubs themselves. That means every penny counts for the foundations that are trying to grow this fantastic sport, which gives people the chance to get involved with rugby, who never thought they'd have the opportunity to play.
I'm hoping to raise money to split equally between the clubs, because even though we're rivals on the pitch, this sport is for all of us. I truly believe that sport is one of the best ways to improve peoples' quality of life - doubly so for those with a disability, that may not otherwise be able to play a sport like rugby.
I've planned my cycle over three days (14th - 16th of July), with the hope to still be standing at the end to cheer on Cas! Follow the ride on instagram @who_needs_two arms and read more about the ride: https://www.castlefordtigers.com/mobile/article.php?id=7502
