Story

So My annual charity event is fast approaching and I'm hoping to raise as much as possible to help raise awareness and help fund the ongoing research into Skin Cancer.

18 months ago, on 26th December 2016, my brave younger brother Warren, passed away from Cancer. What started off as a small mole on his shoulder, developed into a serious form of Melanoma which spread through his body, eventually ending his battle on Boxing day. As many of you know, my brother and his wife Teresa, lived and worked in Thailand and in September 2017, I flew over and ran the Thailand Half marathon, with his wife and some of his close friends, and from it, raised over £1,500 for Melanoma UK.

On 20th August this year, I will be taking my bike into France where I aim to cycle to 2 largest mountain ranges, which are used regulary in the Tour de France. I will be riding Alpe D'huez and Mt Ventoux within 3 days of each other, together with some other smaller mountains over the 2 and a half weeks I'll be there.

Melanoma is such a terrible form of cancer, a cancer which can sometimes be just dismissed because it looks just like a mole, yet skin cancer causes the highest amount of deaths between the ages of 10 and 40yrs.

Please please please, dig deep for this great and worthwhile cause and keep the memory and legacy of my wonderful and brave brother alive.

IF WE RAISE THE £250, I PLEDGE TO DONATE ANOTHER £250.

Thank you so much x
