Story
Bringing communities together
In light of the recent violent protests in the UK there is a need to bring communities together for dialogue.
Scottish Interfaith Week provides an opportunity to unite communities and celebrate the nation's religious and cultural diversity.
Most events for Scottish Interfaith Week have little to no funding. Your donations will go towards helping local communities host events and bring people together.
Cycling across Kerala
Dr Srihari Vallabhajousula will cycle 600km through the Indian state of Kerala from Monday 16th September to Friday 27th September to fundraise for Scottish Interfaith Week.
Srihari is funding the cycling tour himself and every penny you donate will be used to fund events for Scottish Interfaith Week.
Srihari is a board member of Interfaith Scotland, an honorary chaplain of the University of Glasgow, and a representative of the Hindu community in Scotland.

What is crowdfunding?
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
