Story

I am a non runner, NO correction I WAS a non runner. I will very shortly become a marathon runner.

Last year I signed myself up for a 5k run, as something to train for, little did I know that, that little 5k would turn into a 26.2 run around London.

In May of 2018, after watching a few friends run the Marathon, I felt extremely inspired to throw my name into the ballot. "I wont get in" I told my husband. At this point I had only ever ran 5k (3 miles). he said "you never know, you just might" I wont say he was right, but that leads me to Oct/Nov 2018, when I received the "Your'e In" magazine from Virgin Money London Marathon. WHAT THE F.....................

"I can do this" I told myself "I can go from being a non runner, to running a marathon" I just needed to focus, and do! Focus and do.

I then thought about how??? how to keep focused?, I know!! I tell my family, I will fund-raise for something!!! now who for??

I am a big believer in it takes a whole village/community to raise a child, the right village/community will give them the best experience and start in life. they are able to grow in a safe environment, with the experiences that shape excellent members of our future societies.

Well there is no question, I wanted to give to something that has been an integral part of both my children's life experiences so far.

My daughter Kaitlyn and my son Noah have both had the pleasure of attending Cylch Meithrin Mwy Abergele. They are an amazing Welsh medium childcare provider in Abergele. They are that cog in the wheel of a great community, the great community that shapes our children.

They would like to build a outdoor performance platform/stage with a surround. This will allow the children from aged 2 to 11 to have the opportunity to develop their confidence in performing by singing, acting or playing musical instruments on a stage. They look forward in holding outdoor concerts in the near future. I am super excited to see what performances they put on.

So please donate what you can, I will be running the London Marathon on April 28th with pride that I am supporting such an amazing place.
