Story

Cylch Meithrin Glyn Ceiriog is a self-funded, not-for-profit early education setting who provide childcare for 2-4 year olds as well as offering an after-school club to primary aged children. We are the only childcare setting within the local area of the Ceiriog Valley.

Unfortunately, due to rising costs, we are now facing closure if we cannot raise significant funds by the end of the summer term in order to see us through the summer holidays.

If Cylch were to close, not only would a much-loved hub of the community be lost, but the parents of the adjoining primary school, Ysgol Cynddelw, would lose their after-school childcare and some may potentially be forced to move their children to another school. In turn, reduced pupil numbers would mean the school's funding would take a hit, at a time when they are already having to fundraise to keep themselves afloat.

Please donate what you can to help save this much-loved setting. Staff and committee volunteers have worked hard to turn things around and without the gap in income that will occur over the holidays, Cylch would continue to rebuild and improve it's financial situation. If we can make the funds to see us through this summer, we believe we can keep going thereafter!
