Cyprus has more cats than people and many are homeless without proper care. There is no government support for the abandoned, injured and sick cats, of which there are many.

There are however AMAZING people in Cyprus doing their best to help cats- we call them the rescuers of Cyprus! They have the ability and skill to help cats through trapping and transporting cats to the vet, as well as feeding and general care.

Neutering cats plays a big part in this, as well as rescuing those in need off the street.
