Story
I competed triathlons in my early 20's and finished 14th in the country and gave up due, to injury and University.
I decided to do a Ironman in Lake District last year for my 50th, I did it in 10hr 19min and finished 2nd in my age group and 9th overall. So I entered the tougher Bolton ironman UK this year. I again finished 2nd in my age group in a time of 10hr 29min. I then was allocated a Kona slot and decided to take it, as it might not come around again.
It is extremely expensive for entrance fee, flights, accommodation and food in Hawaii, So if you can spare a pound to fund me, I would be really appreciative.
