Hi everybody, I'm here to ask for help for my dad, he was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer in December last year and unfortunately he had to leave work, I help him to put the government help that they give but unfortunately is not enough. I have a younger sister still in college studying, I try to help with everything I can but I have 2 kids my self and its been very hard to deal with this, he has acquired some debt and honesty all I'm asking is for some help to pay the debts put some money aside as funerals here in UK are not cheap :/ and give him some relief, I know he's not going to last long (doctor said 1 year, 2 if we are optimistic that his body can handle it that long) and seeing him struggling because of money like this it just makes me feel terrible as I can't help him myself, he should be recovering not stressing around as it doesn't help at all the body to recover as it should. His treatment is aggressive he can't eat, drink not even swallow his saliva without pain. All I want is for him to enjoy his last year with us knowing that his debts are paid, he's funeral taken care of and that he doesn't need to worry anymore if we going to struggle to pay it for him when he's gone. I came here because I don't know to who to turn, I just feel lost with all this that we are going through as a family. If you can help believe me that I'll be eternally grateful for it, even if you only leave one pound /euro. I just want to make this right for him I want my dad to have the rest he deserves while he's here with his family. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this.
