I've spent years getting myself upset by the thought of losing my dad way before we received this terrible news so now just wanna focus on helping him as much as possible and making the absolute best out of this unfortunate situation.

In a couple of weeks he will have an operation to try and remove the SCLC (small cell lung cancer) tumor and then will need to be off work completely for 8-12 weeks if all goes well. My dad barely takes holiday from work, for as long as I can remember he's worked as much as he possibly could to provide for us working day shifts into night shifts, 7 days a week etc so 8-12 weeks off is going to be tough enough mentally without financial worries too.

The reason I'm making this page and trying to raise as much as I can for him is because he's always given as everything he's had and if he'd said no to us a bit more and thought about himself he would've been able to have a decent amount of savings in his bank but our happiness has always been priority and now I want to repay him best I can.
