Story
In 2015, at the age of 52 David Fraser was diagnosed with Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis which has severely affected his health both physically and mentally where the disease continues to attack his brain. This has also in turn brought on Fronto Temporal Dementia (FTD). David's family have been struggling to support him with his ever increasing complex needs.
David is now sadly in a home in Colchester where his family and friends visit him. David cannot support his head or body any more and getting comfortable is becoming increasingly difficult which is where this fund raising comes in. A custom made chair is available that would make David comfortable and help him to steer clear of becoming bed bound. The only problem is the whopping price tag it comes with.
When David was young, he was an excellent swimmer. So good that he was asked to train for the Olympics which he declined at the time. It is for this reason that his children and children-in-laws will be partaking in The Mass openwater swim in August 2023 to honour his memory to swimming and to raise funds for this chair.
Anything you can spare in these hard times is hugely appreciated and means so much to us.
Thank you and lots of love,
Tom Fraser
