£1,222raised of £750 target by 67 supporters

Weʼve raised £1,222 to help Dai get back on his feet.

    Bridgend, UK
Funded on Tuesday, 30th October 2018

    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

As many of you will know Dai has recently be hospitalised and diagnosed with Guillain-Barre syndrome.

A diagnosis of Guillain-Barre syndrome can be emotionally difficult. Although most people eventually recover fully, the condition is generally painful and requires hospitalization and months of rehabilitation.

As you can imagine, this has turned his life upside down and his family's. A lengthy hospital stay not only has a huge effect physically but also financially.....

This page has been set up in the hope that all donations made will not only allow Dai a financial cushion for when he is up and about, but also show Dai that he has a huge support system behind him.

So please donate, no matter how small, and leave a message for Dai who will welcome all your support during his rehabilitation.

    Thank you

So all of your kind dontaions have now been transferred across to Dai's account so from myself and all of is family, thank you for all your donations and words of support. I know Dai has enjoyed reading them and using them to motivate his recovery. Dai is now breathing on his own un-aided and is walking upto 20 steps at the moment. He is way ahead of where he should be in is recovery and Dai is pushing himself daily by setting new targets for himself to hit. Thanks again.

Happy 40th birthday Dai. This may not be how you ever thought you'd celebrate your 40th but everyone has been supporting you 110% in your recovery. Collectively we have managed to raise £915 to date and smashed our original £750 target. I know Dai will take great pleasure in reading your messages today so thank you all for your efforts to date.
