💙 In Loving Memory of Dai Kinman 💙
On Tuesday, 5th August, we sadly lost our beloved Dai Kinman a loving husband, devoted dad, and a man known for his kindness, generosity, and unforgettable stories.
The funeral will take place on Friday, 29th August 2025 at Cheltenham Crematorium (GL52 5JT). The service will commence at 1:00pm, followed by a celebration of Dai’s life at The Bear at Rodborough (GL5 5DE). All who knew and loved Dai are warmly welcome to join us.
In lieu of funeral flowers, we kindly ask you to consider donating to our JustGiving page. Our goal is to raise enough funds to purchase and install a public defibrillator in our local community in Dai’s memory a lasting tribute that could one day save a life.
We’re supporting Public Hearts, a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to placing life-saving defibrillators across Gloucestershire. Each unit costs around £1,000, and our ambition is to raise enough to fund at least one defibrillator in Dai’s name.
This cause is especially meaningful because of Dai’s own story. Twenty-six years ago, he survived a major heart attack a moment that gave him 26 more precious years with his family, and the chance to meet all 7 of his grandchildren. We want others to be given that same chance.
Dai was the kind of man who would give you the shirt off his back. In honour of his giving spirit, we hope this defibrillator will continue his legacy of kindness by giving someone else a second chance at life.
Thank you for your love and support during this time. Let’s keep Dai’s memory alive by helping others keep living and keep telling their stories.
