I've raised £2000 to Help two amazing charities.... Latch and Dan's Fund for Burns

The time has come to get the daps on &raise some ££s for 2 amazing charities.which I have chosen because the 2 people that made me choose them are both inspirational and incredibly brave. The 1st charity is Latch children's cancer charity. who help children and their family through the most difficult of times, times that most of us will never have to endure. The family that made me choose Latch have endured more than most the young man who inspired me is Finn halpin Jones who last year started a journey that is both sad & so brave.Latch provide everything a family could need based at the heath hospital,Cardiff they have helped Andrea &Grant(Finn's parents)as well as Finn throughout the last 4 months,so the money I hope to raise will continue to help Latch provide accommodation, support and so much more that families need in the most difficult of times.
The 2nd charity is one that doesn't get much limelight & the lady that set it up is an unbelievable lady & I'm lucky to know her Polly Brooks.
Dan’s Fund For Burns
This was set up in the wake of this tragic bombing in retaliation for the US attacks in following 9/11.202 people tragically lost their lives that night & my friend Polly lost her husband, Dan & 8 other friends. She was the sole survivor of her table of 10 that night & had only been married 5 weeks. She was lucky enough not to be knocked out in the blast & was able to pull herself up & out of the sari club onto its tin shack and straw roof & run across it to safety. She was badly burned though.Help came in the form of the Australians and she was kept alive by some touring Aussie Rules players and then patched up in Sanglah before being flown to Brisbane where they saved her life. She was left with 43% burns. In light of all this horror, Her aim was to do more good than evil,Helping countless burn survivors re build their lives & provide financial, critical & emotional support & donating to improve the NHS services with providing a wide range of aftercare support
