What is crowdfunding?

Story
Milton Keynes is currently in a housing crisis, which is slowly getting worse. There are an estimated 1,000 homeless, some are lucky enough to be housed in temporary B'n'B accom, but many are not and simply categorised as street sleepers. The coldest winter since 1962 is forecast for this year and much needed supplies of thermal clothing and socks are needed.
