I've raised £2000 to Patrick Friel Curran Fund - to contribute to the costs of painting and furnishing a two classroom school and workshoo for street children.

I lost my eldest boy to sepsis almost five years ago in Newyork. At the time l was carried by a wave of support from both my family and friends and the good people of my hometown here in Derry not to mention his good friends in America. At the time we recieved a lot of donations in cash from all walks in life to help bring Patrick home. The money by far exceeded what we needed. We decided that we should help people in the same situation and do some good work in third world countries...to date we have helped bring home 9 people from here in Derry. We have also carried humanitarian work in India and nirobi Kenya. Our latest project will oversee from start to finish a new building to be named in his honor. The purpose of the building will be to help rehabilitate and provide oppertunities to young boys who have been living on the streets in Nirobi. They are given a roof over thire heads and 3 meals a day. They spend thire days at school for the children
that are academic and workshops for non-academic. This June see's the end of the project and we are traveling out to paint and furbish the new building. All donations big or small will be greatly apprecieated by ourselfs and the kids in Nirobi...thank you in advance for your kindness.
