I'm raising £50000 to create a book and exhibition where I don't have someone profiting from my art and dictating the message I want to share.

Story

Hello dears, I have always shared my photographs freely. I have given my vulnerability, my stories, my heart, without ever asking for anything in return. I create because I believe in human art, in truth, in the kind of expression that reminds us we are alive. Especially now, when art is struggling to survive, I have tried to keep going for all of us who still believe in it. But creating in this way is not easy to sustain.

So with honesty and humility, I am asking for your support.

Even one single contribution, in any currency, from anyone who feels seen by my work or who feels connected to the way I create, will help me bring this art to life as it deserves. Not only on a phone screen, but in books, in exhibitions, in prints you can hold, in masterclasses, and in many other ways that bring the art closer to you.

I cannot do this alone.

I think of it like the small donation you would give to enter an exhibition. This exhibition is here every day, freely available, and I will continue to share everything I can. But creating authentically without the support to take this art into the world has become lonely and complicated.

We live in a world where adult content can bring in enormous amounts of money. I do not judge anyone who does that. I only sit here as an artist, creating for myself and for my community, and I ask gently and with respect. Can you spare a little for the artists as well

I want to give you so much more.

This was not an easy decision for me. For everyone who chooses to support my art, I will write your name down. And at random, I will give my very first camera to someone on that list. It is still in working order, and it is the camera that created almost all of the images you know and, I hope, love. There is some shame for me in asking this, but my desire to create honest, human art is stronger than that feeling. And if I must rely on companies to keep going, there is always the risk that my work will be censored. That is not the path I want. I want to create for you freely and truthfully.

Thank you for reading.

Thank you, with all my heart, if you choose to support this journey.

With your help, I can return fully to bringing my creativity to life and sharing it with you in the way it was meant to live.

Love always,

Your artist, Damon.
