HMS MONTROSE is 3312 miles away from her base port of Devonport Dockyard. Starboard Crew wish to show their support for those at home in the UK by running to meet our loved ones. As most of our families are observing lockdown this is also an opportunity for them to join us virtually by running or walking during their daily exercise hour to meet us half way. Social distancing will be observed throughout the activity by both those at home and on board HMS MONTROSE. The total miles run or walked will be updated on social media platforms as each milestone is met to keep everyone informed of how close we are getting to each other. If we smash the target too quickly we will add some extra legs on e.g. run to the furthest family from Devonport e.g. Scotland.
