I've raised £500 to sponsor children from Kibera slum to go to a holiday camp and for funds to help support education for life in Mombassa.

We are two young Christian men who want to make a difference in the lives of others once we have completed our A-levels this June. We have decided to travel to Kenya through the month of July to volunteer with two charities; "Turning Point", based in Kibera, (which is a slum in Nairobi) and "Education for Life", based in Mombasa. Between these two mission opportunities we will be doing some travel and exploration of the country.
"Turning Point" is a charity offering education and opportunity for those trapped in one of the world's largest slums. Your donations will go towards supporting the school and funding children and young people through the holiday camp.
"Education for Life" is a charity seeking to "show Jesus' love in practical ways and to care for children who had been forgotten by society."
We would very much appreciate all donations to help us on our mission to help bring about a positive impact in the lives of those with whom we will be serving.
