This is the next stage of Standing 8 Theatre's new play Go Down Swinging. This is the first production from my new theatre company and I am really proud of what we have achieved so far. We had a very succesful rehearsed reading with just 1 day of rehearsal in June and would like to see what we can achieve with a whole week of reserach and development. I am still awaiting on funding from the Arts Council to make this a reality in September. As part of any bid, one also has to raise a certain amount by yourself. This is the first time I have tried a crowdfunding approach but I am always blown away by the generosity of the people I know.
