I'm running the BHGE 10k on May 5th in order to raise funds for the HDU department in Royal Aberdeen Children's Hospital. My aim is for those willing to spare just the equivalent of one pint in the pub (roughly £3.50...which is cheap in some places) to help my cause. My aim is to have 100 people spare a pint... though if you wish to sponsor more then obviously feel free!

The HDU department work tirelessly in providing the absolute best care they can to some very poorly children. I have the utmost admiration for everyone within their team and my hope is to raise some money that could be put towards making the ward a better place in any way for the kids, their families and also the staff. If we can help to make even one poorly kid to smile then slogging myself round a 10k run will be more than worthwhile.
