There is a small silver lining to the current situation. After several cancelled events this summer, you have now helped raise enough for the swim itself to go ahead! I am so thankful for all of your support so far. I will be updating the blog with a list of thank yous for all of your contributions to the swim and MCS. I would direct any donations from now on to this site (https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/dan-shailer-channel-swim) where all of your contributions will go straight to MCS and will be eligible for Gift Aid!

Thank you so much for all of your support so far! From close friends to those I've never met before alike, it means a lot to me and to MCS. I hope you are all keeping healthy and safe in these unusual circumstances. At this point it is unclear how the swim will be affected. I've posted some updates on the blog here (https://danswims.wixsite.com/channel/blog), but we won't know much for certain until the beginning of the season in June/July.
