I am writing to you to tell you abit about myself and to ask for your help. I have Athetoid cerebral palsy and require 24 hour care, and I am wheelchair bound . I need help going to the toilet, feeding myself, cleaning my teeth, washing and drinking, even scratching an itch. But it doesn't stop me, I do use a computer it works on a roller ball that my foot controls, and two buttons for the click mouse, I can also drive my wheelchair, these are the two things I can do myself. ( carers 24/7) I have a couple of miniature Dexter cows I enjoy spending time with, with the help from my carers, I used to go up the field everyday to get them used to me and my chair, which I achieved last year, I also got them used to walking beside me on a halter, Unfortunately my chair that I used broke down, so now I am unable to even go up the field, as my chair I have is not suitable for the ground, it's only suitable for indoors or road use now. I have found the ideal chair that would enable me to continue with my hobby/ dreams. Which is to be able to take my cows to Agriculture shows and show them in the ring myself. I was brought up round farm animals, I've wanted to do this myself , to show people that just because I'm severely disabled it doesn't stop me doing the things I enjoy most. I'm asking for your help to get the chair that will allow me to do this, to have my dream come true. This chair is worth £10,000 but I have found a company who has one for £3,500. Please can you help me raise this, and if we raised more, I would like to use it to maintain the chair, through the wheelchair company that I'm getting the chair from .
