We are raising money for Dan. Here is why:

Dan was first diagnosed with a brain tumour in early 2015 when they found a 10cm tumour at the front of his brain. After an operation and radiotherapy a scan showed that the tumour had almost completely gone. However, fast forward two years, two new tumours had developed. One at the original site and the other at the back of his head right by his brain stem, making it inoperable.

Dan's options on the NHS were limited and statistically survival beyond a few years is very low. So Dan and his beautiful wife Jess moved to Istanbul to a specialised clinic - combining the genetic approach to treating cancer with the metabolic.

Amazingly, at the end of March, Dan's scans showed that the treatment had worked on the tumours! He needs a few more treatments to keep them away and we'd love if you could help fund them. They've come so far, and we really want to help them continue the treatment until Dan is feeling ace.
