Dance in the Square is Saffron Walden's biggest free annual music event where lots of people come along to enjoy live music in the historic market square. This year we're back on the 29th August 2026 for our much loved free annual event for the 24th year!

Because it's free, the Saffron Walden Initiative needs to raise the funds to make it happen. We want to not only keep it going but make it even better year on year — and we need your help to do that.

This is a non-profit event run by a non-profit community organisation. Anything left over after costs goes straight back into the local community or to local charities.
