Story

Please sponsor Vet's Marathon Swim to provide vital medical resources to save Thailand's street dogs

On 29th April, our clinical director Dane Walker will be donning his Speedos again to support the great cause Care For Dogs. He will be swimming a marathon 5km (200 lengths) as part of the Swimathon weekend.

Care for Dogs in Chang Mai, Thailand, is one of the main charities that Streatham Hill Vets and the whole of the DNA Vetcare Group support. They undertake some incredibly important and vital work. Please see the video below to get an idea of the amazing work they do –

• They save and treat homeless and neglected dogs

• Operate a rescue centre for puppies and dogs

• They play a vital role in preventing the horrific dog meat trade

The video below shows some before and after photographs of just some of the many dogs that Care for Dogs have helped over the years.

Streatham Hill Veterinary Surgery and the DNA Vetcare group has supported this charity for many years providing vital resources to help these street dogs. All money raised by the swim will be used to provide supplies such as food, medicine and equipment.

We thank you for any support you can give. Even a little goes really far (!) in Thailand and any money raised will help to provide healthier and happier lives for many dogs.

Thank you.
