lots of local villages have lost there shops & post offices, and now most of them are loosing there bus services too, this leaves lots of residents in the local villages without, these shops provided our villagers with the ability to do there grocery shopping and to socialise and without these local shops I fear some people especially the elderly will have no porpoise to even leave there homes.

this year my mother will be 70 years old, as she gets older one of her biggest fears is that she will loose the ability to drive and therefore loose her independence, with the nearest town 8 miles away and no bus service serving her village..

I fear there are many people in my mothers situation who are unable to live independently, who have lost that social experience of seeing there neighbours at the local shop/post office..

I am realistic and understand that it just isn't practical to have a village shop in every village anymore .. so my solution, one shop on wheels, we can serve approximately 12 villages a week with limited costs, so please help us to make this dream happen, and give what ever you can afford so we can purchase a suitable van to get started, thank you in advance
