Hi My name is Daniel Brookes and im a 35 year old male and i currently have a tracheostomy in my neck to help me breathe and a feeding button in my stomach to help me eat as i struggle to eat orally, i also have half a tongue as it was too big to fit in my mouth so Drs decided to cut half of it off.

Due to lack of funding from the NHS they have now stopped supplying my Silver Tracheostomy Tubes, which are made by a company called KAPITEX, These tubes are around £800 and i'm trying to raise fund's for a couple of these which i need as they help me to breath, these need replacing roughly every 2 years. If i raise anymore money it will go to more treatment on finishing my tongue off under surgery.

I currently work which can be such a big struggle so cutting my hours would be nice and concentrate on my health more, i have recently

I only have around 30 per cent of a tongue and iv never been able to bob it out this cause's problem's for me to swollow. Currently i'm on Morphine to try and stop the pain from my tongue, when i was 2 i had it cut off as it was too big for my mouth.

My health condition is called Cystic Hygroma and swelling's come on my face and inside my mouth and if they get too severe i have to have operations, I'm also on Anxiety Medication as my condition make's me very anxious and suffer depression.
