In a couple of weeks I am running the Berlin Wall 100 mile footrace in order to raise money to help out some amazing children that I work with. I am trying to raise this money specifically to purchase resources and supplies to be used within the classroom. This is unlike any other charity which I have supported over the years as I am directly involved with the people who I am hoping to benefit. I work with these kids on a daily basis, I know them by name and as such I am acutely aware of how incredible they are, how hard they work and how much they deserve a fair chance to do well with some pretty rotten odds stacked against them. Training for and taking part in a race like this is something that I feel enormously privileged to be able to do. That said, one thing that I can be entirely certain of come August 12/13th is that I will suffer quite a lot. Should you wish to sponsor me please feel free.
