I've raised £1000 to help myself and other children have a experience beyond borders, limits and expectations.

In August this year I will be attempting to climb Great Britain's highest mountain Ben Nevis.
Last year I was so pleased to be selected to represent Berkshire as part of the UK Contingent to attend the 24th World Scout Jamboree 2019 (WSJ19) in West Virginia - America. My overall aim is to raise £3,950 to help towards myself and other children in less privileged countries to attend the Jamboree.
WSJ19 is hosted by 3 countries America, Canada and Mexico and is taking place during the summer of 2019.The trip will bring together 45,000 scouts to show how our cultures are so different yet this unique event enables us to come together as one. We will share many experiences, whilst life long friends and memories will be made.
WSJ official website: World Scout Jamboree is above all an educational event that brings together the world’s young people to promote peace and mutual understanding and to develop leadership and life skills.
Fund-raising to date has included: marshalling at sporting events, dine in with me meals, looking after pets whilst friends on holiday, bingo, quiz nights, cocktail / beer tasting experiences, cakes sales, bag packing, fetes and carnivals as well as a sponsored walk.
I am extremely grateful for everyone who has supported me on my journey so far, without you it would not be possible. My parents and sister have even been roped in to climb Ben with me and we are all training as much as possible.
Thank you for taking the time to read about my adventure, if you are able to donate then that is super fantastic - thank you.
