I've raised £500 to Treat and buy toys for disabled children to help with their development, and simply because it's what they deserve. In honour of our boy Leo

On July 8th this year myself and Leo's daddy are "walking up the big one" in blackpool to mark 5 years since we lost our boy due to multiple complex heart problems.
It Is a crazy 213 feet high and 420 steps , so it is going to be a challenge !
Our aim is to raise £500 to give children who have disabilities and life threatening illness toys and equipment to help with their development, and to give them a treat as most of them have been through more than most of us will do in a lifetime.
Since Leo died almost 5 years ago we have kept our promise by telling his story and raising money in his name by doing various walks , mountain climbing , fun days, raffles, bingo , this walk will be our most challenging yet !
Please sponsor as much as you can as it will really help and put a smile on their faces.
BRIEF STORY ABOUT OUR LITTLE MAN
Leo was born on time weighing 7lb 4.5oz on 10th April 2017, he was in a hurry with only 57 minutes of labour !
We took Leo home, I had several concerns with him breathing fast ,reduced feeding , bluish mottled cold feet , despite being told on multiple occasions "he is fine" I took him to the GP at 15 days old .
The GP sent us to the hospital, after various tests a chest XRAY was done and We were told there was something wrong with Leo's heart .
Leo and I were transferred that evening to Alder Hey and it was confirmed he had multiple ASD 's and VSD's (holes) he had an aortic cooarctation (narrow aorta) and the left side of Leo's heart was very underdeveloped.
Over a long 3 months Leo had two open heart surgeries and other various procedures, he did so well and after being in ICU for an astonishing 71days Leo made it to HDU then the cardiac ward .
Making it to the ward after all he had been though was massive !
A proud moment 🧡
After 4 days on the ward Leo took an unexpected turn and crashed.
Despite great efforts he couldn't be brought back , he was 13 weeks 3 days old .
We will always be proud of everything he did 🦁🧡
