I've raised £500 to help Nanyuki Jackals RFC travel to away games, repair donated equipment and also have an ambulance on the side-lines for matches.

The Nanyuki Jackals RFC are a team of local Kenyan's aged between 15-35 years old. They play in a league that requires a lot of travel, up to 4 hours in a Matutu ( Kenyan mini bus). With very little money in the area and a lot of the players are either unemployed or orphans. Funds are needed to travel to away games and it also is a requirement by Kenyan Rugby Union (KRU) to have an ambulance pitch-side for all matches.
Some of the players also coach local children in their own time, so giving back to the community and spreading the word of rugby.
The Nanyuki Jackals RFC are recognised by the KRU and have a full management team (all volunteers), so any money raised will only be spent on the team . A bank account has been set up for the team, so all money raised will be put straight into the account, that has a minimum of 3 signitures on the account to withdraw funds.
