Edit: We're blown away by the support, thank you for making our dreams a reality. We thought we were being ambitious when we started this but to reach our goal so fast is a dream come true. Any donations made past the £10,000 target will go into a trust fund for our children. Thank you all for your support and time reading our story.

Hi my name is Daniel, I have recently been diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease at 30 years old. Above is a picture of me, my partner Jordan and our beautiful 18 month old twins Lola (left) & Jasper (right).

In September 2017 I was diagnosed with a terminal illness that I have unfortunately inherited from my father (who sadly passed away age 36). In addition to this news we have also been informed that our children have a 50% chance of inheriting this awful disease. Unfortunatley due to the nature of my disease I havent been given a life expectancy but have been told that this disease works in patterns when inherited.

Early Onset Alzheimers Disease is rarely spoken of and Alzheimers itself is often thought of as a disease that affects older people. I’m 30 and have been told I’ve had this condition for about a year undiagnosed. Hopefully, my post will help raise awareness for Early Onset Alzheimers. Like Alzheimers seen in older generations I too have memory problems, mobility struggles, confusion and coordination difficulties. This disease is not only a burden to me but it has been extremely difficult for my family and loved ones to come to terms with.

Due to the nature of my condition I am unable to work and provide for my family. I now rely heavily on my family, friends and partner to support me and our little family. As you can imagine, this has been a bitter pill to swallow. I have worked since I was 15 years old, so to go from full time to nothing has been emotionally challenging.

I don’t have alot to leave my family when I’m no longer around; but what I do hope is that we all enjoy the time I have left. So if you can help keep this page circulating thats all I can hope/ask for!

With your help it is my wish to raise enough money to take my family on the trip of a lifetime (Disneyland Florida) and tick off some bucket list items along the way. As my memory fades I’m hoping this will create lasting memories for my partner and our children so that one day they can look back on the videos and photos of us all together and cherish the memories.

It means the world, Thank you!

Thank you all for your support and donations. We are overwhelmed by the response and are very humbled by this experience. We will be booking our holiday this week and it’s all down to your generosity and love that this is a reality! You have all given our family the opportunity of a lifetime, something that I couldn’t have done alone. For that I am eternally grateful to you all. I’m going to fight this disease not suffer from it! Let’s make a stand against Alzheimers! #EndAlz
