At 16 stone and sat at a desk for 12 hours a day, I would define myself as 'not designed for the Gym'. However, since September I have lost 2.5 stone and when I kindly volunteered (was told) to take part in a 3 hour gruelling Spiningthon with an instructor who reduces grown men to gibbering wrecks with her ruthless training classes I knew I needed to find a good reason for putting myself through daily pain. I am therefore looking to raise money for Children In Need. I knew it would be unpleasant, uncomfortable and exhausting - but that is why I hope you will consider sponsoring me.

On the 16th of November, I will be Spinning nonstop for 3 hours and have already raised £160. I have spent the last 2 months getting fit, and, like many of my spinning friends I am cramming in as much training as I can in the last two weeks.

I am sure you are all aware of the Children In Need Charity. I am attempting to raise £300 in donations, which will go directly to this worthwhile cause. I need to get fit but the main purpose is supporting the most vulnerable of our children across the globe.
