For those of you who have not already heard the news, we are sad to announce that our colleague Andy Suckling passed away in February. He was 68 and leaves wife Pornnipa, seven year old son Daniel, and two adult children Marie and John.

Andy joined BAM Ritchies in 2010. Prior to that he had accumulated over 40 years of experience within the industry. It is fair to say that he was somewhat of a legend within the ground investigation industry! The invaluable support he gave everyone in the Warrington office (and other offices), along with his irreplaceable depth of knowledge and length of experience will be sorely missed.

We asked Andy’s daughter Marie how we could pay our respects, and she suggested that we have a collection for Daniel. Andy found much delight in Daniel and often said that he kept him going, so this seems a fitting tribute. We will also be collating a book of ‘memories of Andy’ for Daniel to read when he is older.
