On Sunday 7th October my best friend Daniel James Burgess sadly passed away in a tragic accident. The loss of Dan was a complete shock and has left the biggest hole in everybody's lives who was lucky enough to have known him.

Dan was the most beautiful person both inside and out and is missed deeply by everyone, I wanted to do something in order to make sure Dan's memory is kept alive and to give his family and his friends somewhere to go to feel close to him.

Dan's favourite place in the world was Tenerife and his amazing mum Lisa Burgess will be spreading Dan's ashes in Tenerife on his birthday next year, as Tenerife is not the closest to us, I am raising money in order to have a tree placed in Dovestones Memorial Wood to give everyone somewhere to go to feel close to Dan, the location of Memorial Wood is beautiful just like Dan was so it seemed like the perfect location.
