I've raised £500 to purchase an epilepsy bed alarm for our baby boy Ashton...

Hi all, our 11 month old little boy Ashton has been diagnosed with epilepsy. He had a first fit 3 weeks ago, which wasn't investigated as they don't tend to investigate a first fit they said.
Then, this past Thursday evening, Ashton had 3 fits. The last of which was a extremely prolonged seizure that lasted over an hour and a half. They pumped his little body full of anti seizure medication, and it was very touch and go for a while that he may need to he placed on life support as the meds were making it harder and garde for him to breathe on his own. Luckily, with a fan team of doctors around him, he came out of the seizure but then took a further 3 days to regain his mobility and get back to the Ashton we know and love.
We are still in the hospital but should be allowed home tomorrow with meds to try and some emergency meds in case of a prolonged seizure in the future.
I am asking for help in getting Ashton an epilepsy bed alarm that will detect any rapid movement indicating a seizure in his sleep, as it would he catastrophic if he were to have a seizure in his sleep and no-one know about it... I've had a breathing monitor since birth for him that alarms should he stop breathing... But now need one that does the opposite. I'll never sleep knowing he could have a fit in the middle of the night and no one could help him :-(
I've never contemplated using a service like this before to ask anyone for anything, but my son is worth sucking up my pride for and asking for any help at all.
This week I was made redundant and we've only just moved home so I'm stuck and it can't hurt to ask for help.... Any help would be greatly appreciated and if I can ever do anything for you please just ask. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, Danielle and Ashton xxxxx
