In my second year of my nursing degree I am required to complete a four week elective placement. For this placement I have chosen to go to Sri Lanka in order to explore the rare conditions that I am unlikely to see in the UK. I believe this would be a great experience which will benefit my knowledge on nursing in a less wealthy country as well as increasing my confidence with a new environment and being so far away from home.
