Story

As many of you know, last Summer I went to Ghana to teach in the schools. Whilst there I saw how little they had and how amazing the teachers were at resourcing as much as they could. Some children couldn't participate in the writing as they didn't have paper or pens. These teachers and children work so hard and it made me realise how much I take for granted in my classroom. So with the children at school we have donated pens, paper, pencils, arts and crafts and many more things for the children in Ghana. I went to the post office today to see how much it will cost to send it and it is £140. I am asking all of you to please donate money towards the postage. We have come so far with this project and our donations that I don't want postage to stop this from happening. I am putting the first 50 pound in the pot but please if you can spare a couple of pound (and I know it's tough around this time of the year) but please donate anything you can do I can send this wonderful gift to the children! Thank you x
