Weʼre raising £300 to help send Daniel Nash to the 24th World Scout Jamboree in North America this summer!
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
Daniel's challenge on 2nd February is to tackle Rombalds Stride, a 23-mile trek taking in some of Yorkshire's finest scenery, going up the Airedale Valley, over Rombalds Moor to Ilkley and across Otley Chevin. He will have a target time of 8-10 hours within which to complete the walk. No mean feat in the middle of winter!
Daniel was selected from hundreds of scouts from across the region to join 45,000 other scouts from around the world at the 24th World Scout Jamboree in the USA and Canada this summer. The adventure will include 10 days at the Summit Bechtel Scout Reserve in West Virginia, exploring both New York City and Washington DC, and a 'Home Hospitality' phase in Canada. A once in a lifetime opportunity!! Have a look ... https://www.2019wsj.org/
This is Daniel's most recent fundraising venture. He has already raised almost £2000 of the required £3800 to take part!!
Please support Daniel in his challenge and his venture to join the world wide scout family this summer!
