I've raised £6000 to benefit six separate charities who supported us and Daniel 10 years ago. We are climbing Mount Snowdon in memory of him.

This year we have chosen to challenge ourselves by climbing/walking up Mount Snowdon in memory of our son Daniel, who died ten years ago of a rare brain stem tumour aged just 11 months. He was a happy, smiley baby who inspired many, many people.
We have chosen six of the charities (one each!) who have helped us on our journey over the last ten years. They are Demelza House Children's Hospice, King's College Hospital (TC5 and Lion Ward), Ronald McDonald House, The Salvation Army, The Child Death Helpline and Pembury Hospital (Children's ward).
We have also been receiving money from family members over the years and this will be going towards buying one or two 'Sensory-in-a-suitcase' (portable sensory equipment) for Rainbow Trust - another charity who provided us with vital support and continues to help families with seriously ill children.
We will be completing our Snowdon challenge sometime during the week beginning 29th July - weather will dictate the day we actually go up!!
The Snowdon Team so far are:
Richard Bourlet - Dear family friend, travelling all the way from Geneva
James Cailes - Susannah's brother and a late entry John - James' friend
Amanda, Chris and Evie Doe - Susannah's sister, brother-in-law & niece
Colin and Jane Mildwater - Friends from our village (Jane-support crew!)
Robert, Louise, Bethany and Naomi Wickenden - Louise has been a friend of Susannah since 1972!
....and of course, Richard, Susannah, Thomas, Hannah, Lydia & Faith and Messy Marvin!!
