Home-Start Monmouthshire strive to offer support, practical help and friendship to families who are experiencing stress or difficulties.
Each year they must raise their own funds in order to train volunteers who in turn provide informal, friendly and confidential support to families and their young children to give them the best possible start in life.

£7 will enable a volunteer to visit a family for a week. £20 will give a vulnerable child a happy memory to cherish. £28 can help support a family in crisis for a week. £187 can train a volunteer to work with a family. £1,500 can support a family for a whole year

Following on from my half marathons last year, both myself and fellow colleague and friend James Barnes, will be taking on the challenge of running to and from our place of work (Chepstow to Henry Howard Finance in Langstone) for 5 days, starting on June 5th. The equivalent to just over a marathon a day, 13.5 miles there and 13.5 miles home, 135 miles in total!

Every parent, child and family have the right to be happy and any donations will help Home-Start Monmouthshire to help families achieve this!

Any donation, no matter how big or small, will make a huge difference and would be greatly appreciated by myself but none more so than Home=Start Monmouthshire.
