Story

In just a few weeks time Alex and I will be adventuring off to rural Telangana to volunteer with the AMAZING charity Tread. Tread runs four child development centers in the locality of tribal villages and provides the opportunity to access education and break the cycle of poverty they are often stuck in because of e working hours and conditions parents and families work in. Tread's incredible centers open really early in the morning and are open till late so that as the parents go off to work children don't have to go with them to labour for free, instead they can go to school. Me and Alex will be helping in the first center that was set up (and hopefully visiting the others) that can serve 100 children and the families they belong to. At each center the children receive two meals a day 6 days a week, they are given extra lessons help with their school work, as well as health education and chance to be children with time to play and dance. None of which is normal in the tribal villages.

Unfortunately their main funder Compassion is no longer able to help out, which means Tread is on it's own. We want to not only go and help with our hands but with our pockets to and would love it if you would join us in supporting the amazing work Tread does for so many families. £20 supports a child for a whole month so we want to raise much as we can, deally enough to support 4 children for a year, and to help continue the life giving work Tread does.
