On the 22nd December 2009 Embrace provided transport for Mia from Pinderfields Hospital to ICU at Leeds General Infirmary, the work the Embrace team carried out to make it possible to move Mia was incredibly complicated and took hours but they didn't give up and made sure she made it over to Leeds to give her the best chance of survival.

I want to raise money to help the Embrace team purchase vital equipment needed to assist with transfers, provide any additional training for staff that might help with the more complicated transfers as each one is different and I could not think of a more deserving organisation to raise money for in memory of Mia.
