Story

My 11 year old niece has recently been diagnosed with germ-cell cancer, a rare and fast growing cancer.

This is a very difficult cancer to diagnose and less than 100 children are diagnosed each year.

This is a very aggressive cancer and can grow very quickly and requires 12-14 blasts of chemotheropy.

She has been amazingly brave and will be my inspiration throughout these events.

I will be running a number of events to raise money including the Barcelona half Marathon, Brighton Marathon and the Isle of Wight Challenge. I am also waiting to hear if I have been accepted into the London Marathon.

My timetable of events are as follow;

-6th Spetember- Virtual Runner 5k
-10th September- Virtual Runner 1/2 Marathon
-8th October- Mud Monsters 5k run
-22nd October-Great South Run 10 miles
-11th February-Barcelona 1/2 Marathon
-15th April-Brighton Marathon
-22nd April-London Marathon (Hopefully!!)
-5/6th May- Isle of Wight challenge
