Simon was diagnosed with non-Hodgkins Lymphoma in February 2018. He faced his treatment with courage, positivity and sense of humour over these last very difficult few years, and was desperately worried about providing a secure future for Sarah and their two sons. Sadly he lost the battle in September 2021 aged just 44 years.

He had such a lot of hopes and dreams for Toby & Ben, with sailing, rugby, skiing, kayaking, cycling and festivals. He was so keen to travel as a family and enjoy the world, all opportunities that have been taken from him. The first thing he said when he was told his condition was terminal ‘I don’t want to leave my boys’

There is a quiz night arranged for Tuesday 16th November from 6pm at Penderels Oak Pub (Cellar Bar), where the proceeds will all go to Simon’s family.
