WE NEED YOUR HELP❓❓❓❓❓

Hi everyone. I hope during these crisis times relating to COVID19, I find you well.

Firstly i would like to introduce myself, My name is Danny and I am the owner of Curious Critters.

We are a small Animal Education and Encounter Company based in Atherton covering Wigan and the north west.

Our main purpose as a company is to use a variety of different amazing animal species including Snakes, Lizards, Frogs, Skunks,Owls and creepy crawlies and many more to help us educate children in schools throughout the area.

We cover a vast range of educational topics from Rainforest Workshops, Animal Classifications, Conservation and lots of other biology & geography based topics. As well as the educational enrichment of what we provide there’s also the human side where children in deprived areas where we work get to meet animals they may never get to meet throughout normal life settings..

Unfortunately because of COVID-19 we have lost 100% of our income and at this point we haven’t received any money or worked for 4 weeks.

Up until this point we have been living on some emergency savings we keep for aside for a rainy day but we never ever envisioned we would potentially be out of work for 6 months.

We were hoping for some kind of business grants from the Government but like many we have been left to fend for ourselves with MP’s thinking only VAT registered or Rateable business deemed important enough to save.

SO WE REALLY NEED YOUR HELP TO SURVIVE 🙏🙏🙏

We are hoping to raise £5000 which will secure our animals until at least September when with hope life starts to resume to some sort of normality.

The £5000 will help go towards Animal Food, Enrichment, Enclosure Maintenance and electricity to make sure we can still meet all of our animals welfare needs 🙏🙏

Any donation how ever little will help and and will be ever great received by us and the animals?

Just to give you a rough idea on what your donation could provide

£1 a day could provide food for one of our parrots (Veg, Fruit, Seed, Parrot Pellet)

£3 a day could feed our Lizards (Locust,cockroaches, Morio Worms and salad and eggs)

£5 a day could feed our Owls (Mice and rats)

£5 a day could feed our Skunks (Locust, Cockroaches, Beatle Grubs, Root Veg, Turkey Mince)

£10 a week could provide food and heating bills for our 3 5 foot Argentine tegu Lizards

£15 a week will help feed one of our Giant Sulcata Tortoise (salad leaf, vegetable and grasses)

There’s also lots more species that need feeding, heating and to maintained so we are desperate for your help.
