Earlier this year, after a period of illness, we lost our friend and colleague Danny Morgan. Danny’s family have nominated Newington Day Centre as their charity of choice for fundraising.

Newington Day Centre is a cross-sommunity charity organisation in the heart of north Belfast which supports older people in the community.

The philosophy of the centre is 'To promote the independence, well-being, dignity and self-esteem of members'. The day centre aims to enable people from many different backgrounds to remain living in the community and to provide support and respite for carers.

Staff from the EA’s Statutory Assessment and Review Service are hosting a special fundraising day at EA Dundonald Office, Grahamsbridge Road, BT16 2HS on Friday 12th Sept at 10.30am. We will be welcoming members of Danny’s family and friends from across the Education Authority and local schools.
