Thank you for reading this.
Our gorgeous son has Downs Syndrome. He attends a mainstream school where he has many friends and is well supported and happy.
He loves to join in games and PE but he struggles to physically keep up with his peers. He does not have the same stamina and physical strength.
We would love for him to exercise regularly but doing something he loves! His friends can all ride bikes but he finds it physically very hard.
We would love to raise the funds to get him a specially adapted trike.
He will use this in school during the week to ensure he is getting regular exercise. At weekends he can take it to the park with friends or family and enjoy that experience like most children would.
He had a trial of a special trike and loved it!

7 years agoThank you all for helping us to get Danny's trike. You have really done an amazing thing and we want you to know how grateful we are to each and every one of you for your support. Danny's trike arrived at the start of term. It's fantastic and what's more Danny loves it. He is also getting really good at it so our goal of him exercising more is being achieved which is great. He hasnt quite settled on a name for it but I think 'red zombie blood lightning' is the current favourite!!😉
