BOSIES is a local Cancer Charity based and run by an Aberdeen family who have been touched by breast cancer, not once but twice, have set up their own charity named BOSIES, dedicated to helping others affected by the same condition.

Debbie Hamilton, the main trustee, established the charity after witnessing her mother, Maggie, successfully winning her battle over the disease.

“It was such a worrying time not just for mum but for the whole family. We were so grateful for the care she received and pledged that one day we would try and put something tangible back to help others

The funds that BOSIES raise, both from the shop and external events, will go to the ARI ‘Breast Cancer Research Clinic’, run by Professor Heyes and ward 42, which is the dedicated breast cancer treatment and recovery ward.
